This Mercury transit quincunxing your composite Mars is a bit like late-night flat-pack furniture assembly-there are clear instructions, but somehow they just don't match up with the bits and bobs you've got. Mercury in Virgo is great at the detail work while Mars in Capricorn is all about discipline and structure, but the quincunx aspect can draw an awkward line between these literal energies. Left-hand instructions, right-hand tools, and a pair of puzzled faces-sound like a jolly good mid-week night, right?

Now, I wouldn't go so far as to compare this with trying to teach a cat quantum physics, but there might be moments during this transit when you'd swear, "We're speaking Greek while dancing to Salsa music." Communication could get as twisted as a pretzel, especially on matters relating to ambition and achievement. Mars in Capricorn could get a tad bit dictatorial, its 'hard work-dictum' mindlessly grating against Virgo's fussiness. And mind you, with Capricorn's proclivity for structure, it doesn't like sitting on the therapist's couch, discussing feelings with a Virgo-go.

You may find yourselves at cross purposes. One person says they want X, and the other hears they want Y; "Why can't you just say what you mean," might just become your refrain. It's a bit like a Martian asking a Mercurian to put the kettle on, only to find they've transmuted it into an exotic plant.

But let's not get dismayed. There's plenty of space for growth here, if you can navigate around the corners this aspect throws up. It's a call for adjustment, fine-tuning. And if you happen to run into a communication glitch, try a game of charades or dust off the old Morse code-anything to break the monotony, lighten the mood, and remind yourselves how good you are as a team, even in the face of astrological oddities.
