As Mars stomps its boots in your backyard in assertive Aries, you both might feel a sudden surge of courage, somewhat akin to two timid mice suddenly deciding they've had it with the cat. With Mars firing off rockets in its domicile and the trine aspect symbolizing support, there's an innate push for you to capitalise on opportunities that cross your path.

This striking Mars-Jupiter energy is bound to inject a healthy dose of enthusiasm into your lives and shared goals. You might suddenly find you have the tenacity and persistence of a bloodhound on a bakery burglary case, and the rest of the Zodiac? Mere spectators to your joie de vivre.

Meanwhile, Jupiter, perched in the heights of Capricorn, bestows an almost comical seriousness onto your intentions. There's certainly no messing around when it comes to your empire-building pursuits. Imagine layering the ambition of an overzealous college freshman, the fervor of a hiker trekking uphill and the steely resolve of a granny battling the supermarket crowds. Such is the energy of your composite Jupiter in Capricorn.

Combining the assertive force of Mars with the philosophical expansion of Jupiter yields an expansive-yet-cautionary symbol akin to the king-sized candy bar you've wanted to treat yourself to. Wholeheartedly indulging may simultaneously leave a bitter-sweet taste. Know that growth and expansion are beckoning you, however, it's important to balance this sudden gusto with prudence, or you may find yourselves outfitted in knight's armor chasing windmills - quite an amusing sight, but slightly off the mark for your goals.

Still, it's an incredibly powerful mix, this Mars trine Jupiter aspect. While kindling the fire of your ambitions, it also has an unusual way of infusing your connection with dynamism. A bolshy Mars and a sternly amused Jupiter might sound like an unusual pair, but you know what they say about opposites attracting. So, remember to enjoy the cosmic fireworks and let your combined ambitions light up the night sky.
