This is a weekly horoscope with your actual chart behind it. It takes a birth date, time and place, works out where the planets will be across the seven days you choose, and reports the aspects they make to your own planets and angles. Nothing here is written for a sign; it is calculated for a chart.
A week is the right length for the middle-speed planets. The Sun moves about a degree a day, Mercury, Venus and Mars a little more or less, so a contact from one of them builds, perfects and separates inside a week — which is exactly the span a weekly reading can describe honestly. The Moon passes too quickly to structure a week, and Saturn or Pluto barely move in one.
So read a week in two layers. The slow planets say what the whole stretch is about and will say the same next week; the faster ones say which days inside it are which. When a fast planet crosses the same degree a slow one is sitting on, that day is usually the one people remember from the week.
What is being touched decides the subject. A week of transits to your Sun is about direction and how much of yourself you are spending; to your Moon, about mood and what you need; to Venus, about money, affection and taste; to Mars, about drive and friction. The house a transit falls in says where in your life it is happening.
A birth time makes this a whole reading rather than half of one. Without it the planets are still right and the aspects stand, but the Moon can be out by several degrees and the houses and Ascendant are unavailable — and the houses are the part that says where.
A week of transits describes what the week is asking of you; it does not predict what will happen in it, and nothing here is a verdict about health or money. Knowing the weather is not the same as knowing the day, and it is still worth having before you plan one.
A column by sign is written for a twelfth of the world. This is calculated from one birth date, time and place, so the transits it lists are the ones touching your chart and nobody else's.
Mostly the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars: they move fast enough to perfect an aspect within the week and slowly enough to be felt for more than an afternoon. The slow planets set the background for months at a time, and the Moon changes by the hour.
Not for the aspects to your planets. For the houses, the Ascendant and an exact Moon, yes — so without a time you get a real reading that cannot say which area of life a transit is working on.
Yes, and it is one of the better ways to learn the technique: look up a week you remember clearly and see which transits were running through it.
