We understand that some people give value to Vertex and we respect that. Astrology has many facets. But we don't use Vertex for different reasons: First, we need to stop somewhere. There are so many planetary bodies and points that we need to choose. In particular, adding a new point or body would involve writing the interpretations for it, in relationship to each other planet/point. This, for birth, synastry, composite, transits and transit in composite charts. It would become a huge work and 12andus is almost a one-man band.
Also, we prefer to work on visible celestial bodies rather than calculated points.
Then, it's a relatively modern addition to astrological interpretation.
