Transiting Saturn on the natal Ascendant: rebuild your external identifications

This transit gives you the opportunity to deepen your wisdom and to mature as a human being.

To accomplish that, you might need to let go of certain aspects of yourself and in your external identifications which aren't useful for your evolution now.

Now you want to set long-lasting and stable structures based on wisdom and hard work. You might also question your relationship with people and you might feel and become lonely for a while until you build a new supporting circle of people.

As well, love relationships are being questioned for their usefulness for your personality. You might be tempted to isolate yourself from other human beings, and this might be a necessary stage to concentrate on yourself.

There's love of essentiality and rejection of triviality. A serious attitude transpires also from your external appearance.

During this time your self-discipline is higher than usual.

Your personality gets along well with other people if you see they are worth your time and they are serious people.

You are especially keen to spend your time with people representing authority or wisdom in their fields and base your relationship on mutual respect and serious talk.

During this transit you'll experience difficulties in relating with people.

You are going to test your relationships to evaluate which are still worth keeping and which represents instead only hardships and responsibilities.

You might feel lonely, isolated and without support, recognizing that you give your best efforts, but get little back.

While this might be true, don't evaluate human relationships only by cold calculations.

During this transit you project onto others the image of a reliable and serious person.

Your authority is well-established in your area of work or study and you look mature enough to become responsible to complete complex tasks.

While you are ambitious to reach important positions, you approach your goals with honesty and steadfastness.

Any kind of partnership, from intimate ones to business connections will experience a difficult time.

You evaluate that your relationship requires many responsibilities, making you feel overwhelmed and tired.

On the professional side, since you have reached several goals, now people in authority might start to challenge your status and want to prevent your further successes.

Don't let stress take a toll on your health. Your body is particularly vulnerable during this transit.

This time should be dedicated to accurate reflections about how to harmonize your role in the world with your relationships.

Saturn is such an important planet, as without it, we wont mature or use discipline or exert boundaries. I know we all want lots of Jupiter, but without Saturn we could waste or take Jupiter for granted.
I used to hate Saturn ( Saturn in Pisces ,in the 8 th ,here ) but the astrologer I worked with ,years ago ,told me : "Never fear Saturn...".
Liz Greene's book on Saturn is well worth reading. It redefines what Saturn does, who he truly is. Respect ! And no matter how hard it gets. Saturn makes you a master.
Thanks for this series,Ivo. Respect !!!
